Dennis J.  Stallings Memorial Funeral Home is named after the late Dennis J. Stallings, who passed away on December 25, 2008. Mr. Stallings was a distinguished businessman, a great humanitarian and a major pillar in the community. He had a passion to help all that he came in contact with. His genuine personality, jokes and smile (that could make anyone smile) helped to comfort many during their time of bereavement and beyond. Dennis had a TRUE passion and love for all that he served and made sure that he treated them as his very own family.

Upon his early and untimely demise, his wife Marian, daughter Dawn and son Derrick knew that his wish would be to continue on in the business, that he loved and continue to provide quality service to Northeastern North Carolina and Virginia. Four years later, on January 11, 2012, his wife along with their two children opened The Dennis J. Stallings Memorial Funeral Home with their office being located in Gatesville, NC in his memory and honor.

We are proud to serve the local and surrounding communities, dedication and sincere compassion. We have distinguished history in our community and will continue to serve you with dignity. Here at DJSMFH, we treat you like our FAMILY and NOT just a number.

Our motto is "Making Your Family's Memory a Legacy". This is definitely a motto in which Dennis, lived by daily and it is our goal to continue what he started.
