"ALL day and ALL night ANGLES are watching over the Dunlap Family"
"On a perfect day, I know that I can count on you
When that's not possible
Tell me can you weather the storm...can you stand the rain..."
On Monday, April 01, 2024 five days after celebrating her fifty-first birthday Soror Juease E. Dunlap answered the Master's Call and gained her angelic wings to soar with doves beyond the skies.
Juease Ellora Dunlap made her grand entrance on March 27, 1973, at Walter Reed Army Medical Hospital, in Washington, DC, to the delight of her parents, Jean Simmons Dunlap and Buford Dunlap, Jr. A few days later, she went home to join her siblings, Mekella and Derrick, who, as soon as she was able to talk, she began to tattle on.
Juease attended school in Currituck County. She graduated from Currituck County High School in the Class of 1991. She received her Bachelors Degree from Fayetteville State University in 1995. She was often heard to exclaim her "Bronco Pride" and attended Homecoming regularly. While at Fayetteville State University, Juease became a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. She was a member of the Iota Nu Zeta Chapter.
Juease joined Center Chapel AME Zion Church as a young child and remained a faithful member. As is true in many smaller congregation, she did whatever job within the church that needed to be completed on any given Sunday. She did not hesitate to step in where needed. She will be greatly missed by her church family.
Juease was a New Edition super fan (yes, Ronny, Bobby, Ricky, Mike, Ralph and Johnny too)!
"...Through the good times and bad times
She will always, always be right there...Storms will come, all days won't be perfect, this we know"
